The Saffron Project

At Safran du Liban we handle every step ourselves, from corm selection to harvest, drying, and packing. Each thread is treate as a ritual: precise, quiet, uncompromising. Saffron is a discipline of patience. It regenerates season after season, and we steward that rhythm with rigorous standards full traceability from corm to jar and independent ISO 3632 Category I verification for color strength, aroma, and taste.
Our collection extends the craft beyond the jar: culinary saffron, ready-to-brew infusions and infusion cubes, limited confections, and refined body care where saffron’s character is preserved rather than perfumed over. Formulations are pared back and purposeful clean compositions that let the ingredient lead. Daily use is the point. A few threads for depth and luminosity in cooking; a measured infusion for clarity; a simple care ritual that respects skin and senses.
Naturally rich in crocin, picrocrocin, and safranal, our saffron supports a calmer, more intentional pace without theatrics. Responsibility is built in: small-batch production to minimize waste, careful water and soil management, recyclable packaging meant to be kept, and an in-house team trained to exact standards. Purity is not promised; it’s certified. Quality is not seasonal; it’s repeatable. Safran du Liban: the discipline of saffron, extended into a family of products precise, restrained, and consistently excellent.
